Working principle of the 53B system:

The pressure of the barrier fluid is adjusted via the accumulator to maintain it higher than the process fluid pressure, preventing leakage of the process medium.

In the event of a major leak, the pressure switch will activate an alarm when the barrier fluid pressure changes.

If the barrier fluid is insufficient, it can be replenished via the manual liquid pump.

The temperature of the barrier fluid in the entire circulation system is reduced by a heat exchanger or finned tube.
